We can thank Peter Dutton for stepping up to make a change. If he hadn’t, we would likely still be stuck in Turnbull world.
As a result of the recent political upheaval we can consider ourselves better off than we were before. Malcolm Turnbull with his globalist agendas is no longer Prime Minister. And that is a good thing.
To a large extent we can thank Peter Dutton for that. It was Peter Dutton who triggered the change.
The problems caused by Malcolm Turnbull and his globalist left wing polices had been festering in the Liberal Party for some time. It was clear there was a serious problem. Commentators, the public and Liberal politicians had spoken about it. And yet no one had taken any serious action to fix it.
In the end, it was Peter Dutton who stepped up and triggered the change. He stuck his neck out. He took the risks.
Scott Morrison was, shall we say, somewhat opportunistic in getting the position as Prime Minister. He did not stick his neck out until it looked safer. Hopefully, he will be an improvement. But he was happy to play the game when Malcolm Turnbull was Prime Minister. He did not rock the boat when the boat needed rocking.
However, Peter Dutton did rock the boat and managed to tip Malcolm Turnbull overboard.
Naturally, he has copped (ha ha) some criticism for causing trouble. The loony left are not happy with him and his associates. Which shows they did a good thing. We need more people to cause this sort of trouble
We need more people to step up. We have seen too many people sit back and take the cowardly path when they know they should do something. And often, they and everyone else suffers as a result.
Now that Scott Morrison is Prime Minister, he owes a debt to those who had the courage to step up and take some risks. So, when it is needed, he should step up and take some risks.
And we should remember, that while Peter Dutton did not succeed in becoming Prime Minister, he succeeded in bringing about what, we hope, is a significant change in the political direction of the country. And that’s pretty good.
